Online collaboration mode enables reviewers and editors to jointly control and comment on projects—simultaneously and in real time—in Vegas Pro 13. Multiple reviewers, each with their own iPad, can seek, start, stop, and pause playback. They can also drop frame-accurate markers and notes directly onto the Vegas Pro timeline. Editors can use this direct feedback to shape and finish projects. Offline collaboration mode enables reviewers to download project proxies onto their iPads and then review them anywhere and anytime, even when they don’t have access to the full Vegas Pro project. Just as with online collaboration, reviewers use frame-accurate markers and notes to document their feedback. Later, reviewers sync the proxies on their iPads with Vegas Pro 13 and transfer feedback directly to the master project for direct editor access.

Creating and editing professional-looking video isn’t always the simplest experience, and Vegas excels at providing the most professional looking videos with a range of tools and effects that are easy to use. With the ShotPro Engine it’s possible to add in titles and credits, as well as add professional-looking effects to the video, creating a more professional looking movie.
If you’re looking to create a simple video without the need to add too many effects or features, Vegas is more than capable. Text and music can be added using a very simple interface, and there is also the ability to add in your own color effects. For more professional looking videos, however, Vegas will make this process much easier for those with more time and talent.
It is easy to pick on Vegas with regard to the editing interfaces, however the design and presentation of it is all about the interface, and in that department it is superb. Although using the interface is not the most responsive editing environment on Earth, it is very attractive, the above it (and below) gives a very positive impression of the package. There is no doubt that Vegas is one of the best interfaces for that part of the video editing process. The interface is fluid, there is no snagging, the colors are vibrant and the lines and fonts are easy to read.
Who Uses SONY Vegas and Why Is It Important?
From the sound of it, their review here is a result of Sony’s marketing department, then passing it on to Videomaker with the intention that it can be quoted in an article and passed off as a ‘review’ of Vegas Pro.
To be clear, if the article had been published on the Videomaker website, I would not have considered it legitimate. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was commissioned by Sony and not a promotion for an inferior product. That said, it seems odd for such a reputable source as Videomaker would publish an article that promotes the only editor from a company with a monopoly on editing software.
Given that the article is a review of the latest version of a very successful video editing program, it’s odd that the interview was published as an endorsement for the latest product rather than an honest attempt to answer a question about the software product. And since this is Videomaker, I’m not sure if we can expect honesty.
I think it’s a good idea to consider who you are and what your site is for before you review anything. Of course, we can’t control who comments, but if we let comments from those who have no relationship with our site, we can have a cascade effect that will have a negative impact on everyone.
SONY Vegas New Version
Nowadays, video editing programs have become an industry, and competing software evolves regularly. Adobe’s Premiere and Sony’s Vegas Pro have been neck-and-neck for a while now. We all know that Adobe is constantly improving and enhancing Premiere, but Sony has built its own version of an editing software for video. Vegas Pro, to many users, is a superior option to Adobe Premiere Pro. In the case of both programs, you can import media and edit projects from other devices. But, Vegas offers a number of editing options and is lighter weight than Premiere. And, for someone looking to spend less money on their editing options, Vegas is an attractive option. Whether you decide to upgrade from Premiere, or if you’re a new video editor, make sure to keep your options open. You don’t want to be stuck using a program because the company has closed up shop.
In the end, the question is what you need a video editing software for? With both Vegas and Premiere Pro you’ll have tools to be an overachiever, no matter what your situation.
What is SONY Vegas good for?
If you’ve never used Adobe® Premiere® Pro, the transition to Sony Vegas Pro will be smooth. You can import clips, organize them, and create new layers inside of the program.
Sony Vegas has been extremely popular and has since become the go-to program among video editors due to the sheer volume of high-quality plugins and visual effects it is capable of using. This program is primarily aimed at the video editing market, and it excels in almost every aspect of video creation. Sony Vegas’s flexibility and variety of tools make it a highly valuable asset for any market sector. You can use this program for any type of project, from personal home videos, to educational content, or even professional broadcasting.
As video editing is becoming more and more popular, we’re definitely seeing some of the programs get more and more feature-rich. With the introduction of the Vegas suite, we have a bit of a split in the market. The huge suite of tools, such as XML and VFX, is aimed at professional users and professionals, whereas “little Vegas” is targeted at the beginner. The appeal of the Pro version is that it’s in many ways superior to the Suite version in terms of ease of use.
Main benefits of SONY Vegas
One such company is Sony, whose latest version of Vegas Pro stands out from the pack. In fact, it’s one of the best alternatives to Adobe Premiere Pro.
Partly that’s thanks to the ‘features pack’ that’s also included with Vegas Pro 19. This is a free upgrade for registered users. You get a range of new tools, and many of the features you’d expect from an Editor’s toolkit.
Once you’ve finished editing, you can easily split your video into chapters. This helps you get on with other tasks. For example, even though editing a 10 minute video is a lot to fit into your day, you can break the footage up into chapters of no longer than 5 minutes.
You can also use the Sort By option in Vegas Pro to split a video into chapters. You can be fairly fussy here, as you can choose by keyframes and clips. If you’re working on a multi-camera project, Vegas Pro will even recognize the event markers and cut them out automatically – which is a real time saver.
What is SONY Vegas?
These books consist of the owner’s name (at the bottom of the book cover) and the book title, author, and sometimes publisher, and a few other small details. These are a good option for downloading and listening to, as they are not copyrighted.
It was is essentially the successor to Sony Vegas 8, which was once again a package deal for audio editing (6.8) and DVD/Blu-Ray DVD mastering (15.0). The timeline here is by far the best, and Vegas’ timeline remains unique – especially when compared to the incredibly confusing set of timeline views offered in Resolve. Vegas’ timeline is easy to navigate even for a novice user; it is a smooth, continuous timeline where playback of clips can be shown at any rate, and the ‘folding’ of a clip (that is, alternating between periods of insertion and/or deletion) can be done smoothly, even while you are editing.
Sony Vegas’ timeline is based on media clips, which may include audio, video, graphics, photos, and text, and which may be either referenced by name or folder, or generated by templates or keyframes. Media clips may be arranged into sequences of any length for playback order, and may contain additional media clips, which may be arranged similarly, or may be independent. Media clips include multiple tracks, with any combination of video, audio, or graphics, which may have multiple formats, and may be overlayed with any combination of logos, titles, or other data.
Sony Vegas is a multitrack, nonlinear, timeline-based audio and video sequencer, DVD and Blu-ray authoring tool, and a multimedia production, broadcast and post-production software package. It comes in two versions: Vegas Pro 6.7 or later, and a limited market version, Vegas Pro Studio 8.0 and higher. The most recent version, Vegas Pro Studio 15.0, was made available in February 2012 for Windows.
