The Design Analytics extension makes it possible to develop analytics to enable an end-to-end building performance simulation. Tools make it possible to generate RFA report templates, benchmarking data and more. The Workarea for Revit 2023 expands the component-level data that is available via the Sync extension, adding components, their assembly, materials, and their characteristics.
Autodesk Revit was an early adopter of the new GPU Architecture. The Autodesk Revit 2023 R1 release delivers revolutionary industry-first GPU acceleration on the GPU for significantly reduced render times and improved performance. Some of the new features in Autodesk Revit 2023 include the capability to: expand and collapse revit families such as walls, roofs, openings, windows, doors, stairs, and rooms; interactively increase the scale of models using an intuitive user interface; increase the resolution of camera views using the multi-resolution level of detail (LOD) viewer; and much more.
The Autodesk Revit 2020 Universal Data Migration Tool (UDMT) is a free tool for customers to migrate databases and structures from the Autodesk Power Design Suite 12.1, Autodesk Revit 2020, Autodesk Revit Architecture 20.2, and Autodesk 3ds Max 2020. To assist customers with the migration process, Autodesk has released the Autodesk Revit 2020 UDMT Service Center that provides status updates and technical support.
With the introduction of Autodesk Revit 2020, the design workflow has evolved to capitalize on the latest in technology. Revit 2023 is the first version in the 2020 series that takes advantage of the new GPU Architecture for GPU acceleration.

Revit 2023 brings significant improvements to the physical simulation tools you use to support your design. Revit delivers greater precision and control through its ability to simulate materials and simulate parts. Revit provides the ability to simulate parts and material combinations while rendering your design, reducing the need to perform time-consuming physical modeling, part consolidation, and painting operations. The improvements to the simulation and geometry display enable you to create more precise models, enabling better communication with other design tools, and enhancing the design-to-fabrication workflow. With the addition of material consolidation in Revit, simulation can be used to cut design time by allowing designers to more easily coordinate the model with associated fabricators. Revit 2023 is the best Revit ever. It looks, feels, and acts like a native Revit application. Combine that with the new technology preview capability, and you can use Revit to connect new tools with your new business processes. It’s time you made the move from prototyping to project-oriented design.
Working with geometry to construct your models is always challenging, and Revit 2023 takes a step forward in its approach to geometry. With the most advanced three-dimensional modeling support available in Revit, including improved point-ability, meshes, extrudes, and complex surface modeling tools, creating robust models is fast and easy. Revit empowers you to get more from every feature, including mesh models, allowing you to easily visualize complex geometries in your model, reconstruct missing parts of your model, and even build your own custom measurement units and methods. Revit is also more prepared to handle large model sizes and simulate large models with new automatic down-sampling features. These improvements to Revit geometry enable you to design better, faster, and more efficiently using the next generation of geometry workflows.

So Revit 2023 is packed with a ton of enhancements, improvements and features. It has been designed with both architecture and MEP users in mind, and if youre an architect or MEP, this is a tool youll want to have in your toolbox.
Hi Harmanjit, your model is shared with Revit 3D. How are you experiencing the synchronization of that model? If that model is shared, the Revit Comments that have been added to it will be synchronized in Lumion. However, the feature we are working on currently syncs both the 3D model and 2D rendering views of that model. Can you share your file with us so we can check what Revit Comments you are referring to? Thank you.
Hi Alhaidir, I’m afraid we currently do not have a user-facing solution to the problem you are experiencing. It is possible that the issue is in the Revit 21 files that are added to a Veeam Agent 5 backup, though that would not explain why you’re also getting synchronization errors when performing a manual backup. Have you tried creating a support ticket for your issue using the Autodesk Customer support portal and see if you can get a response? You can find out how to do that here: Autodesk Online Forums
Hi Joshua, the comment about Structure view being different may be something specific to the way you created and structure view. If you follow the steps here: Creating a RAP that can be attached to a Revit file, and the Autodesk Revit Architecture Guide’s steps: Adding Architecture Views for Revit Architecture files, you will be able to see for yourself exactly how the view behaves. This article shows how to edit the default view and also how to create your own custom view by first adding the new view in Revit and the view properties in RAP. Next you need to add the Architectural Layer by following these steps: Creating new layers for architectural views, and then add your new layer to the new view. The last step is to save the view as a custom view. If that view doesn’t behave how you expect, then we would need to look at the options of why this might be the case so we can share more information with you. As an alternative, you can use the SVGO Editor to verify if your exported project is up to date, and if not you can follow the steps outlined in the link you included to update. You can find out how to do that here: SVGO Editor. The changes you make in the source file to the SVGO.bin (changes the names of layers in SVGO, for example) are written to the.bin file as well, so even if you delete the original file, the file contents that you’ve added to SVGO are still contained in the file.
